Grilled Chile Spiced Fish Fillets
What better time is there to fire up the grill than summer time? Grilled fish fillets are quick, enjoyable
and most of all, healthy. This inexpensive Grilled Chile Spiced Fish Fillets recipe is perfect for that lazy
summer evening. Any fish will do; bass, catfish, snapper, trout, tilapia or cod. White fish fillets are perfect for rubs that add flavor fast. You can mix up this spice rub and keep it on hand in a cool, dry cabinet and use it for any meal.
Texas Hunter Chile Spice Rub
1/4 tsp. Onion Powder 1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Cumin 1 tsp. Chipotle Powder
2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 25 Minutes
4 5 - 6 oz. Fish Fillets
3 tbsp. Canola Oil
1 tsp. Cornstarch
3 tbsp. Chile Spice Rub
Directions:
Step One: Mix Texas Hunter Chile Spice Rub ingredients into small mixing bowl.
Step Two: Place fish fillets in a glass dish and baste each side of fish fillets with canola oil. Add
cornstarch to Chile Spiced Rub and mix. Season each side of fish fillets and let stand 5 minutes.
Step Three: Pre-Heat Grill for 5 minutes. Once grill is up to temperature place fish fillets on grill.
Grill fillets 5 minutes per side or until fish is done when easily flaked with a fork.
