This deer was harvested in Tamaulipas, Mexico on December the 24th, 2007 at 11 am. The temperature was 90 and it was chasing a doe. That's me, Roberto Fernandez in the picture. The buck scored 178 6/8 non-typical Boone and Crocket. It has 15 points. I hit it with a .270 winchester 130 grs. hornady btsp handloads - a Texas heart shot - at 200 yds. He ran for 20 yards before dropping. It is the biggest buck I have ever shot. |
